On A Budget – The Best Drugstore Palettes
Posted on September 9, 2014 in Uncategorized

While we all love the pretty aisles of Sephora and the counters at Nordstrom, we don’t love the price tags. Yes, there are many eyeshadow palettes out there that are totally worth the price and that I will recommend again and again such as every Naked palette by Urban Decay however there are also palettes out there that are worth skipping and finding duplicates in the aisles of Target. If you are one who doesn’t shell out money for a pretty eye but still long for the look, this is for you. PS, I chose palettes that contain great transitional shades for the fall season!

*TIP* To get the best pigmentation and wear out of drugstore eye shadows start with an eyeshadow primer! My favorite is “primer potion” by Urban Decay, read my entire review here

Flower Shadow Play Eye Shadow Quad $8 – This is close to one of the only successful makeup lines done by celebrities. The formula here is smooth and designed make your eye lids soft and supple.

Rimmel London Glam Eyes Trio Shadow $5.50 – For a rich and pigmented look pick up this trio from Rimmel.

Almay Intense i-Color Smoky-i EyeShadow $5.99 – All of the shades in not only this palette but the others in this line are so complementing the many different eye colors. Make your eye color POP with this trio!

Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Quad $13.98 – A combination of matte and shimmer these are the prettiest golds to take your look from day to-night in a flash.
